About AJCAD Mali
The Youth Association for Active Citizenship and Democracy is the result of a group of young people convinced of their role in the development and establishment of the rule of law in Mali. The founding members are activists involved in the promotion of young people in different fields: sexual health, governance, advocacy and rights. It is following a multitude of actions carried out together within the framework of Oxfam Novib's My Rights My Voice program that an awareness of the responsibilities of the various members has proven necessary. They held questioning sessions for candidates in the presidential and legislative elections, mobilization of the electorate population to register and vote, submission of manifestos to candidates and analysis of candidates' social projects. Given the effects of these activities on the community, we have dedicated ourselves to establishing a regular, sustainable and effective space for the continuity of citizenship and youth advocacy strategies..

Our vision of Mali is a prosperous and peaceful nation where young people are involved through responsible participation. A democratic nation in which the rule of law is established and the living conditions of each citizen are improved.
Assignment
AJCAD's mission is to support young people in synergy with other organizations and to bring their voice to all decision-making bodies. We are committed to defending their rights, mobilizing them, informing them, training them so that they become active, competent, productive and responsible citizens.
